The WINK Idea

Six plus years ago, my sister revealed to me that she was gay. She had found a wonderful partner to share her life with and I couldn't have been more proud of her or more happy for her and her partner.

The idea for WINK greeting cards evolved from my frustration of not being able to find a fitting card to send to her and her partner to mark their special occasions, holidays and important life events. My sister also voiced her exasperation concerning her inability to easily find a card that was perfect for her partner. Therefore, I decided to create a line of greeting cards that would be appropriate for same sex relationships and their families and friends.

THE Goal Of WINK

The goal of WINK is to provide a tasteful line of greeting cards for same sex couples and their families and friends to share with each other, for example: coming out cards, two mommies/two daddies cards, anniversary and valentine cards, holiday cards, etc. We hope to see our line proudly displayed in all mainstream greeting card stores in the near future.

At WINK greeting cards, we strive to set the bar when it comes to alternative lifestyle cards. We pride ourselves by focusing on using high key, high concept art images comparable to that found in fine art galleries across the nation. We want to produce tasteful cards which are also sensual and meaningful.
