Raw Processing

We believe the photography industry should take into account the needs, requirements and preferences of those professionals who make their living or pursue their artistic vision through the photographic medium. 803 Labs, Inc. agrees with the photographic community that RAW images will provide you with the best possible images from your camera. Many digital photographers have embraced RAW technology in order to obtain the best image quality. 803 Labs, Inc. has the ability and experience to meet the demand for RAW processing. Just as 803 Labs, Inc. has done for years processing your film with color and density management, we will continue to provide that service with the processing of your digital files. In order to obtain the maximum from RAW technology, 803 Labs, Inc. offers the convenience of color management, editing and storage of your digital files. 803 Labs, Inc. also recognizes that not all photographers have chosen to “Go RAW”. For those digital photographers who have not gone RAW, 803 Labs, Inc. extends the RAW service to those who still work with .tiff, .jpeg and .bmp formats.

Option A Burn Digital Images to Disk Only
This process is designed for single pass processing of color and density corrections. This is process only and burn. There is no price discount from these disks. There is no storage option available.

Option B Process & Printing of Digital Images
This option is designed for multi-pass color and density corrections. All images that are printed will be stored for 2 weeks at no charge. Image storage for longer periods than 2 weeks is available at an additional charge (see storage pricing). Any stored images from this process are available for reprinting at additional discounts with the following conditions:

• There will be no additional color changes to the images and will be reprinted “as is”, The reprint will be exactly like your proof.

• If there is any need for color or density changes to be made, the reprint will be charged at regular pricing.

• The discount applies to all types of printing with the exception of B/W Traditional paper printing, the Day after Christmas Special or the January/February Enlargement Special.
